Last call for Lantra nominations

THE closing date for nominations to Lantra Scotland’s Land-based and Aquaculture Learner of the Year Awards is just over a week away, on Friday, November 9. Employers, teachers and training providers across the sector are all being encouraged to put their nominations in if they haven’t already done so. An independent panel of judges will then shortlist the finalists, with winners announced at a ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro in March. Open to learners in agriculture, aquaculture, equine, fisheries management, environmental conservation, game and wildlife, horticulture, trees and timber and land-based engineering, the awards are now in their 16th year of celebrating the achievements of Scotland’s top trainees.
