Salmon products feature heavily in the shortlist for the 2025 Seafood Excellence Awards. The winners will be announced on 16 March at Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America, the largest seafood trade event in North America.
The shortlist for the Retail category includes: Atlantic Salmon with a Guinness Sweet Honey Mustard Melt & Panko Crumb, from Icy Waters LLC in collaboration with the Good Fish Company of Ireland; Latitude 45 Smoked Salmon Charcuterie Board from Chile’s Multi X; Patagonia Seafarms’ Salmon Kefta Kebabs; and Ranch Salmon Crunchy Fish Bites from Iceland’s Næra.
Alaskan wild catch sockeye salmon also makes an appearance, in the form of Wild Salmon Curry from Thunder’s Catch.
Also shortlisted in the retail category are Spanakopita Wild Blue Catfish from Channel Fish Processing: Arctic Surf Clams in Brine from Clearwater Seafoods; and Shrimp Bao Bun from the Eastern Fish Co.
Finalists in the foodservice category are: American Unagi’s Gluten Free Eel Kabayaki fillet; Breaded Arctic Surf Clams from Clearwater Seafoods; and St. Ours Crab Broth from St. Ours & Co, LLC.

The Seafood Excellence Awards, held in Boston, serves as the North American extension of the Seafood Excellence Global Awards competition, held at Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona, Spain and the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards competition, held at Seafood Expo Asia in Singapore.
All three awards are organized by Diversified, producers of Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America, Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global and Seafood Expo Asia.
