Loch Duart sets up US sales operation
Scottish salmon farmer Loch Duart has added a US operation to its existing French and UK sales offices.
The US campaign will be led by Jim Scoon as US Vice-President, Sales, who was formerly Sales Manager for Black Pearl seafood, one of the largest importers of Scottish salmon into the USA. His virtual office is based in Boston.
Scoon said: “I’m really proud to be working with the renowned Loch Duart brand. Customer interest has been great, although many of my contacts are waiting for food services to return to operation before ordering significant volumes. Meanwhile we are pressing forward into the retail sector and getting great traction and interest in the exceptional quality of Loch Duart salmon.”
