Trout Farm Assistant Manager, Harome Trout Farm – North Yorkshire

We produce over 300 tonnes of portion sized Rainbow Trout per year for a major retailer and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our small team in the role of assistant manager.

Harome Trout Farm is based in North Yorkshire, near the market town of Helmsley and close to the North York Moors National Park.

You will oversee day to day operations and work with the farm manager to learn how to plan the production and meet the production targets. You will be responsible for compliance with the farm quality assurance scheme.

Applicants should have previous aquaculture experience, competent computer skills, good basic numeracy and above all have enthusiasm for the work. The ideal candidate will be looking for the opportunity to advance their aquaculture career path.

This is a full time, permanent position. 40 hrs per week and 1 in 4 weekend rota.
