Benchmark promotes Tziouvas to new UK role

Aquaculture biotech group Benchmark has promoted Harry Tziouvas – formerly Global Sales and Technical Manager for salmon – to the role of Commercial Lead UK and Global Land-Based.

Tziouvas has been with Benchmark since June 2022 and was formerly Senior Biologist (North) with the Scottish Salmon Company (which now trades as Bakkafrost Scotland).

Joining Tziouvas in his commercial team is Alex Kulczyk, recently appointed as Sales and Technical UK associate. Kulczyk was formerly Site Manager at AquaGen’s Holywood Breeding Centre and holds a BSc in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management.

“I am thrilled that Alex has embraced this exciting opportunity to contribute his expertise to Benchmark,” said Harry Tziouvas, Commercial Lead UK and Global Land-Based at Benchmark.

“His background and experience will undoubtedly strengthen our support for Scottish and Irish customers.”

Commenting on his new role, Kulczyk, based at Benchmark’s offices in Edinburgh, Scotland, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “I am very excited to join and contribute to the dynamic team at Benchmark.
