WellFish hires Mitchell for development role
Fish health specialist WellFish Diagnostics has recruited Chris Mitchell to the new role of Business Development Manager.
He was formerly National Sales Manager with the Fish Vet Group, part of Pharmaq.
Mitchell, who took up the new post in early August, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join a young, dynamic and fast-moving company dedicated to helping aquaculture health specialists to track the health and welfare of the fish under their care.”

WellFish offices and laboratories are located on the University of the West of Scotland campus in Paisley.
The company has developed processes for rapid fish health assessment for the aquaculture industry, using blood-based clinical chemistry analysis. The approach means that fish health can be assessed without the requirement to dissect sample individuals and carry out tissue analysis.
