Aquaculture Africa held over to March 2022

The Aquaculture Africa 2021 conference will now take place in March 2022 instead of this December, as had been planned.

Marevent, the organisers, said that the change was in response to the new Omicron variant of Covid-19 and the restrictions that have been put in place to restrict its spread.

The conference will still be held as an in-person event in Alexandria, Egypt, at the Alexandrina Biblioteca convention centre, the original venue. The new dates are 25-28 March 2022.

The organisers said: “Conference Management is cognisant of the need to hold the Conference under COVID-19 health and safety protocols as stipulated by the government of Egypt as well as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, to ensure safety of Conference attendees.”

This will include a requirement to show proof of vaccination, and negative antigen tests, before delegates are allowed to enter the building.

No refunds are being offered, but all registrations, abstracts and exhibitor contracts will be continued on to the new dates.

Aquaculture Africa 2021 is open for registrations now.
